Winter 10×10 day 9. Another day, another wear of the Sotela dress – this time with a blanket scarf. I almost cheated on my 10 items today and added my cropped wool sweater as a layering piece, but I refrained. Sigh, ready to have my full capsule back.

Winter 10×10 day 8. One thing I’ve noticed this 10×10 is I’m wearing my pants a lot less. I favor dresses for work more than pants – which is a little funny because in my mind I’ve been trying to find the most work appropriate and true to me black pants. Hence these from Madewell, which are their sateen jeans. I scored them on a super sale and do know I’ll be getting a lot of use out of them. But maybe I can stop focusing on the hunt for work pants and instead focus on dresses. 10×10 revelations.

Winter 10×10 Day 4. There’s a reason I have two Sotela dresses in my 10×10, they are amazing! You can dress them up or down, they are great for layering, and I feel very pulled together yet comfortable. Here’s their newest one, the Heather. Which is also reversible! The first couple times I’ve worn it I did the v-neck forward, but under this Eileen Fisher duster it looks better with the scoop neck forward.

Winter 10×10 Day 2. I’m only doing the 10×10 during the work week, which I vaguely remember was a thing one time. Plus, it just works out better for me that way. I’m still trying to reach my corporate America workwear vibe. My office isn’t super fancy or conservative, but still it is different from academia. I’m trying to look professional and polished, but still like me. The 10×10 can hopefully help me refine my style even more.
